Terms of Use

The plain-language agreement for this matching game

Playing EchoPairs means accepting the short list below. They're scoped to match what this actually is — a free, browser-based memory game with no purchases and nothing staked.

What you're agreeing to

EchoPairs costs nothing to play. There's no premium currency, no subscription, and no mechanic that exchanges real money for any kind of advantage. Using the game means accepting these terms as currently written.

What the game is

EchoPairs is a memory-matching card game: flip two tiles, see if their symbols match, and clear the board. That's the whole loop. There's no combat, no element of chance tied to monetary stakes, and nothing resembling gambling mechanics anywhere in the design.

EchoPairs contains no loot boxes, no randomized paid purchases, and no system where real or virtual currency is wagered on an outcome. Boards are freely regenerated at no cost, as many times as you like.

How you can use it

Play EchoPairs for your own enjoyment as often as you'd like. We'd ask that you not scrape or repackage the game's code for commercial resale, automate play in ways that disrupt the service for others, or otherwise interfere with its normal operation.

Who owns what

The card designs, symbol artwork, layout logic, and overall presentation belong to the people who made EchoPairs. Playing grants you a personal licence to enjoy it — it doesn't transfer ownership of any part of the underlying work.

No guarantees

We've tested EchoPairs across common browsers, but perfect behaviour on every device can't be promised. If a board ever misbehaves, refreshing usually fixes it, and there's no lasting consequence beyond restarting that round.

Limits on responsibility

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect issues arising from your use of this free experience. Since nothing financial is exchanged, our exposure here is intentionally small.

Changes over time

We may adjust the symbols, board sizes, visuals, or these terms as the game evolves. Continuing to play after a change means you're fine with the current version.
